Have a look at in_joystick* cvars - see https://dev.etlegacy.com/projects/etlegacy/wiki/List_of_Cvars#in_-Additional-or-changed

Ok, thanks.
With in_joystick and in_joystickUseAnalog the stick comes alive.
But how to configure it? Where to configure buttons and axis, sensitivity, etc?
Thanks in advance.
Regards

Check our menus (options → controls → advanced and options → controls)

The joystick code of ETL isn’t deeply tested. Please report issues.

Thanks for your reply.
I have not this "advanced and options" menu in controls menu. i Have "advanced" and inside only contains fire-teams keys assignments.
:-(

The options have been added after the 2.75 release. This will be available in the next version.

do you have some info about the date when will be released the next version?
thanks in advance

It’ll be released when it’s ready.

Thank you, but you do not have to be so rude.
Which will be released when it will be ready I guess. I know this information without your help.
I was just wondering if anyone has any foresight about the release date.
It costs nothing to be educated.

Dude, my answer was not intended to be rude - you just chose to interpret it that way.

There is no ETA for the next release, and it is really hard to set one. Some issues are easy to fix, some take much more time.
Setting any ETA is doomed to give false hope as it much probably won’t be kept.
Again, the next release will be out when it’s ready. You can however speed it up by helping to solve current issues in the roadmap.

Thanks for your response.
Now, i understand perfectly your response. It is not so hard to give some info, you see?
In any way, possibly an approach can be given: weeks, months, years?
Thanks, once again, for your answer and your job.
Best regards

Please stop lecturing those who actually get the shit done - you’re not giving a good impression of yourself tbh.
Best I could tell you is that the next release is late. As were all the previous releases too.

No ETA, and will be released when it’s ready. And again, best way to speed it up is to help to get the work done. See the Roadmap for more information.

Before this is getting into a pop-corn thread ...

billyjoe, click on the roadmap link above → open 2.75 issue and you’ll see our current release status.

https://dev.etlegacy.com/projects/etlegacy/issues?fixed_version_id=19&set_filter=1&status_id=o

If you sort this by priority you’ll find the reasons why we aren’t ready to make a release.
