Performance drops in 2.72

Hi ,

is anybody else experiencing FPS drops after update to 2.72 ?

Unfortunately, you are not alone. Several people reported performance drop after upgrading to 2.72 in our IRC channel already.

I’m actually wondering if this is directly related to the CPU fix changes (see #774).

I can confirm lost of 20-30FPS one of the causes may be like spyhawk said and 2nd latest changes with transaltion
