Description

If you specify g_alliedMaxLives (presumably also the axis equivalent) it displays the specified value during warmup and upon match start you immediately lose a life once you spawn.

Just a reminder, if you set for example g_alliedMaxLives "1", it means that you have that one single life. The hat indicates the number of deployments left. But indeed, it only shows the wrong number of lives.

What I investigated now is that when you are originally spectator and join either team (Axis/Allies), it will show 5 respawns. But when you are already in a team it will show 4 respawns which is correct when g_maxlives is set to "5".

  • Subject changed from "Max Lives" counts warmup as one life to Wrong number of max lives shown during warmup
  • Ensure that g_alliedmaxlives and g_axismaxlives work as well
  • Check joining during a match

I did a little local testing and was able to 'fix’ this. But at least the cases stated above needs to be investigated.
