I tested it Opensuse with rc1 and font look fine

Es lag an https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?project=home%3Apontostroy%3AX11&package=libtxc_dxtn die ich für Team Fortress 2 installiert habe, dass auf GL_EXT_texture_compression_s3tc besteht. Dort habe ich sogar noch schlimmere Darstellungsprobleme. Deinstallation behob das Problem.

This is strange. When I was on Gentoo I had libtxc_dxtn installed and I didn’t experience this bug. I reopened this issue just so I will remember to test it when I use Gentoo again (in a few weeks time).

EDIT: btw, it would be nice if you added a note to the FAQ about this.
