Description

When pressing TAB it would scroll through the CVARs that you wouldn’t need to type them yourself. For example you type com_m and then press TAB, it would first type automatically com_minimized and then com_maxfps.

In what steps should it be then? +1 +0.1 +0.01 +0.001? To much coding work to prevent that someone has to write max 4 numbers into the console.

I think you did not get the point here what I was going after. It is not about the value of the CVAR, it is the CVAR itself. In the picture is the result I pressed TAB, it just shows the possibilities with com_m and there are two of those: com_maxfps and com_minimized. In the original ET, at least in NQ mod, when you type com_m and press TAB after, it will scroll through the possibilities. First it types automatically com_minimized and when you press TAB again it will give you com_maxfps. Then when you hit space on the CVAR you want to use, you could just enter the value.

It now works if the there is only one command, for instance "devmap t" will not scroll thru maps wich start with 't’, but hopefully i get it fixed soon.

I guess this is not a bug as it works the same way in vanilla ET.

It’s not a bug but an improvement

The extra functionality is not doable without a large scale rewrite of the completion code and there is no need for it. The completion works now as well as it should imho. Will close this now.
